We collect:

• Information you give us: your name, email address, location, portfolio or profile links, your statement, the artwork and caption you submit, and the square you choose.
• Payment information: handled by our payment providers (Square and PayPal). We receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference, but we do not collect or store your full card number.
• Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser information, and basic usage data, collected through standard server logs and a small number of cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• process your application and take payment;
• review, moderate, and publish your square;
• email you your private application link and updates about your square;
• operate, secure, and improve the service, and prevent fraud and abuse;
• comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers we share with

We share limited information with trusted providers who process it on our behalf, each under their own privacy terms: Square and PayPal (payments), Resend (email delivery), OpenAI (automated content moderation of uploaded images), and our hosting provider. We do not authorize these providers to use your information for their own unrelated purposes.

4. We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only to the providers described above, to comply with the law or a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your square is published and as needed to provide the service, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping requirements. You may ask us to delete your information, subject to those obligations.

6. Your privacy rights (including California residents)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

We operate from the United States. If you access the service from elsewhere, you understand your information will be processed in the United States.
